Our Story

Pilates Page was founded by Elif ATAY, a passionate Pilates instructor from Turkey who recognized the need for a dedicated global network for the Pilates community.

Elif first discovered Pilates while searching for a way to recover from lower back pain and poor posture caused by long hours working in front of a computer. Experiencing the powerful benefits of Pilates firsthand inspired her to deepen her practice and eventually transform her passion into a profession.

In 2016, she made the life-changing decision to leave her corporate career and pursue Pilates professionally to help others facing similar physical challenges.

Her Pilates journey took her to Bali, where she completed her teacher training with Balanced Body under the guidance of Sook Fun. Training in such a beautiful and inspiring environment was a meaningful experience, and she felt incredibly fortunate to learn from such an experienced educator. In 2017, Elif became a Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor.

In 2019, she launched her online Pilates teaching platform, just before the global pandemic accelerated the demand for online fitness and wellness services. However, she quickly realized that many existing platforms made it difficult for instructors to promote their services. On several social media platforms, including Facebook groups, self-promotion was often restricted.

Motivated to create a supportive space for Pilates professionals, she founded the “All About Pilates” Facebook community, which has since grown to more than 80,000 members and continues to connect Pilates instructors, studios, and enthusiasts worldwide.

Through years of engaging with this growing community, one challenge became clear:
While the Pilates industry was expanding rapidly—with thousands of studios, instructors, teacher-training programs, retreats, and online classes worldwide—finding reliable, well-organized information about these opportunities remained difficult.

Pilates Page was created to solve this problem.

The idea for Pilates Page emerged from years of experience working within the Pilates community and interacting with thousands of professionals and enthusiasts online. These conversations highlighted the need for a centralized platform where the global Pilates community could easily discover opportunities, promote services, and connect.

Today, Pilates Page aims to become the most comprehensive Pilates platform in the world, helping people discover Pilates services while giving professionals a powerful platform to increase their visibility and grow their businesses.
