Liliana came across Pilates for the first time during her Dance BA in Lisbon, at Filipa Mayer’s Studio. In Antwerpen, while she was on the Erasmus program, she continued with mat classes. Pilates changed her understanding about the body completely and gave her tools to evolve to a truly efficient approach that frees the body and its movement. In 2011 she certified with Polestar Pilates UK in comprehensive and 3 years later qualified as a Polestar Pilates Matwork teacher. In 2015 she undertook the CoreAlign complete training in Milan. In 2016 she moved to London and joined the Polestar Pilates UK Education team. She completed the Gyrotonic® teacher training in 2018. Liliana deeply believes in the transformative power of healthy and holistic movement.
